Bis hierhin gelangt man auf dem gleichen Weg wie ins Everest Base Camp (vgl. Tourenbeschreibung \"Everest Base Camp\"). Kurz nach dem Thokla Pass, an der Zunge des Khumbugletschers, hat man den Ausgangspunkt erreicht. Der alternative Zustieg erfolgt \u00fcber den Cho La Pass (siehe Beschreigung hier).<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">Die Besteigung des Lobuche Ost gilt unter den Trekking-Touren als sehr anspruchsvoll. Vom Lobuche Base Camp steigt man zun\u00e4chst den Hang hinauf, bis man auf etwa 5600 m den S\u00fcdostgrat erreicht. Der scharfe, felsige Grat ist im Durchschnitt etwa 45\u00b0 steil und f\u00fchrt auf den Gipfelgrat auf 5900 m.
